Devilz War

Our family has been breeding pit bulls since WWI.  This business has been passed down from generation to generation.  We plan on continuing this until we can and then follow family tradition and pass it down to our children.  Our commitment to pit bulls is beyond words. We educate people on the true meaning of a pit bull before any of our pups leave, instead of just selling them off to anyone.  We look for people to raise our puppies just the way we would.  We believe in keeping in touch with everyone who opens their heart to a new family member.  Our dogs are one of the family and their extended family becomes ours.

Our dogs are our children.  They are as much a part of our immediate family as our human family.  They share our lives as much as our beds.  I  call the dogs our kids.  We base our outings on the human kids as well as the dog kids.  I have actually spent nights sleeping on the couch because I didn't want to disturb the kids and move them out of my bed, while they were sleeping.  Below is a video of our daughter trying to fill up the pool for the dogs.  That was very entertaining, so I had to share it.

I am going to be pretty straight forward when I tell you about my experiences with pit bulls.
Originally, I believed all of the media hype and crap about the APBT.  When my oldest son was in pre school, him and I were attacked by two pit bulls that lived down the street.  We both sustained superficial injuries.  I refused to have anything to do with a pit bull.  I met my husband and told him to never think about owning any of these "vicious dogs".
My husbands grandfather asked him to take over the business.  He was asked to also go and get one of the puppies his grandfather had sold to someone some years back due to abuse.  I said "no way".  I finally gave in and he went and got her, under one condition, she was not allowed in our home.
Chocolate, was brought to our house and my husband let her run into the living room and jumped onto my lap.  I was so scared that I almost wet myself.
To make a long story short, she showed me the true meaning of a pit bull.  She turned my opinions around that were brought on by the media and a bit with my experience.
I now not only own and breed them but I rescue them as well.  None of our rescues are ever breed.  They have way too many problems to worry about.

A pit bull is now the only dog that I will have in my home.
We do background checks and home inspections as well as surprise visits on anyone who is interested in purchasing one of our puppies or adopting one of our rescues, regardless how much you offer or how well we know you.  We do not tolerate any dog, whether it be a pit bull or not, being mistreated and will report to the proper authorities of any abuse or neglect.
